It's finally that time of the year! My favorite makeup products I've loved throughout all year!
These are my top 10 favorite beauty products of 2017!
10. L'Oreal Brow Stylist Shape & Fill Mechanical Pencil
This L'Oreal Brow Definer pencil has saved my brows this year. I was in love with Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer, but this L'Oreal dupe is far much better. It has an amazing pigmentation and with its triangular tip it can perfectly define the brows. I have used it non-stop and I will repurchase more in the future!
9. Glamglow's Supermud Clearing Treatment Mask
From my skincare routine, I must say that the one product that stood out was my Glamglow Supermud mask. I received it as a sample in a Sephora purchase and I'm glad I decided to buy the smaller version. My skin has improved so much because this mask really cleans and purifies my skin. I love when skincare products work! I can't recommend it enough!
8. Too Faced's Just Peachy Mattes Palette
I've bought so many eyeshadow palettes this year, but none like the Just Peachy Mattes from Too Faced. I love using warm eyeshadows, but it is very rare to find a palette you would love to use every day for work or for just natural makeup. These colors are so easy to use and so pigmented! If you love your mattes, this is the palette to add to your collection.
7. Benefit's Hoola Bronzer
I've added this product to my top 10, because I've bought it for the first time this year and I'm so in love with this bronzer... just wow! I've had favorite bronzers before, but none like Benefit's hoola. It gives a healthy glow and bronziness to my face as well as it defines it. It's my holy grail bronzer.
6. Becca Cosmetics Glow Palette x Chrissy Teigen
I remember buying this palette on a whim, being pressured by a Sephora employee, but I don't regret it at all. Best buy of 2017. It is such a versatile palette, you can use the blush as an eyeshadow and its highlighters as well as the bronzer. It leaves a perfect glowy and dewy skin; I'm not lying to you when I say that I am in love with this palette.
5. Maybelline's Big Shot Mascara
Maybelline's Big Shot mascara is the top mascara of the year! It gives volume and length and it lasts all day! This is Shayla's version which I just received in PR, so I need to try this one out, but its formula is incredible.
4. Fenty Beauty's Trophy Wife
This gold highlight enchanted me from the very beginning. I have never seen something so bold in a beauty product before, so that is why it made it to my top 10 products of the year. At first I thought it was too strong to use it in the cheeks, but since it is a buildable product you can work with it with a lighthand. And Trophy Wife as an eyeshadow is i n s a n e. I love it and you should try it out if you haven't.
3. MAC Cosmetics Dance With Me Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick
Received this one as a gift on my birthday and ever since then, it was love at first sight. It is a cherry dark red that speaks sexy on its own (if that makes sense). You can do a very simple makeup look and if you apply this liquid lippie, it will give life to your look. It is a stunner and I've received so many compliments when I get it, it obviously made it to my top three.
2. Maybelline's Master Chrome Highlighter in Molten Gold
Another one by Maybelline. It is such a glamorous metallic, almost wet looking highlighter that was created to slay your makeup. I think for its price, it is a highlighter that beats high end and very pricy makeup products by far. You can create amazing eye looks as well as cheeks that will shine bright directly from the sun. It is a 15/10 from me. Every makeup junkie must have this one in their collection.
1. Glossier's Wowder
So I bet you didn't expect a powder to be my number one... but I'm not kidding you when I say that this powder from one of my favorite brands of all time, Glossier, is a game changer.
I've always been picky with powders and I hated the way some left that cakey, awful texture to the face. Or when you baked and the powder left a white cast after you brushed it off... it was annoying. I couldn't find a good powder until Wowder. It lasts all day and it kills shine! Glossier you did save my makeup game and I will repurchase this!
