Are the Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Lipsticks Worth Buying?
11:02 AMHello my lovely readers,
Today I finally give you my thoughts on the Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Lipsticks! The minute they launched on the Sephora website I bought four shades and I don't know why I had the urge to buy them, but I knew I had to let you know how I felt about them.
Not gonna lie, the brand's marketing is off the charts. They do have the magic to seduce you into buying these colorful and amazing lipsticks.
First off, each of these are $18... not an affordable price, but also not that expensive. My first impressions were that these are very small lipsticks. From the packaging of these, it says that they carry a 1.7g of the product, which comparing to another lipstick is less than normal. It claims to be an all day color intensity, weightless matte finish, which is true. These are very pigmented shades and I already have worn Saw C (subtle orange shade) and PMS (very rich dark brown) and I love the color pay off as well as they last on your lips until you have something to eat like every other non-liquid matte lipstick. I love the packaging, it is like a rose metallic chrome packaging that goes perfect with my aesthetic. It doesn't bleed and I've received compliments while wearing PMS, I know it sounds weird.
Overall, these are very cool lipsticks, but I know there are still better lipsticks out there, I'd go for the cool and different shades she has in her brand like One of The Boys, which is a funky baby purple or Wasabi which is a dark green or Saw C which is an almost neon orange, but subtle, you can work with it. If you don't like to explore these more colorful shades, then she has the more neutral pinks, nudes and reds you can choose if you are interested. I like them, but I know that I won't buy another one of these in a while. It doesn't mean I won't buy anything else from her brand, oh contraire, I can't wait for what Fenty Beauty has in plan for future launches.
Hope this review has helped you into looking more into these lipsticks, or if you decided not to try them. Please let me know in the comments and stay tuned for next week for another new post!
Hugs and kisses,
Racheliz
