So it's finally 2016. I can't quite believe 2015 is over. It was a great year for me, there were so many learning experiences, scary moments yet the happy ones were the majority and I think there is so much to come. But that can be written in another post, this one contains my favorite makeup products from 2015 and a bit of a review in each of these products.

I'm going to start with foundation and for that I am using the L'Oreal Infallible Demi-Matte Foundation. This one was quite on a hype train all year long and I thought, why not go with the flow once in a while and glad I did, because I have oily skin, so for me this demi-matte foundation gives me such a flawless finish as a base. It blew me away. 

For concealer, I use two products. These are the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in Light and the Benefit Boing's cream concealer in the shade 01. I love these two. I think these cover those horrific dark circles and give such a perfect glow to my face. It's a combo I never miss using daily.

For bronzer, I use my trustee Rimmel London's Sun Light Bronzer to give some colour to my fair skin. For highlighting my face, I use the most amazing palette by Jaclyn Hill, bless her, the Shimmering Skin Perfector with Champagne pop and Pearl. Those two shades kill me. 

Now, for my brows, I use my forever love, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in the shade Soft Brown, but now that I've dyed my hair back to my roots's colour, I mean now it looks black, but yes I think my brow's shade will change. 

Next is eyes and guys, oh wow I think 2015 was the year for amazing eyeshadow palettes. I was using my trustee Naked 1 palette by Urban Decay and then I decided to buy the Gwen Stefanie palette. 

Worth it. I adore the shades, so perfect and easy to apply. If you are a beginner with eyeshadows, you should check this palette out, because the colours are so blendable and easy to use, you'll become a master in makeup in no time. The other eyeshadow palette I am so in love with is the Morphe Brushes' 35k palette. It is filled with so many beautiful colours I want to cry everytime I open that palette. It feels like magic. I am so thankful. 

For eyeliner, I am still in love with my Kat Von D tattoo liner in trooper, that product is so longlasting, it's incredible. I can't even. I am so looking forward to buying a new one, I think i'll be using that liner for the rest of my days.

Mascara this year was such a challenge for me this year, but then the bag of goodies that came with my Shimmering Skin Perfector package arrived with the future love of my life: The Lancôme Hypnose Mascara. This is the best mascara I have ever owned. It gives my lashes everything I have ever wanted. Volume, length and fullness. The mascara does not smudge whatsoever and it's perfect. I will buy the full version, but the sample has also lasted me so long, but woo. I am so happy I found that mascara. I've been also using the Nars Audacious mascara in combination with the Lancôme Hypnose and the effect the mascara produces is just ugh, the best. 

For lips I made a separate post for them here, but I think nothing has changed. My holy grail lipstick is Bow N' Arrow by Kat Von D and I think it will be for a little while longer. That product is just flawless.
