I had to write about my favorite makeup from this year, because it needed to be done. A lot of my friends always ask and talk to me about makeup and I definitely made it one the top important topics on my blog. So here you go!

First, I'm going to talk about brows and for that I've been using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Soft Brown. This product has literally changed my life. I've been using it for almost two months now and I think this my new holy grail. It makes my brows look stunning, really classy and gives that perfect structure to my face.

Now for eyes, the Naked Palette by Urban Decay, the Kat Von D eye liner in Trooper and the Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara are the combo I live for. I haven't been using the Kat Von D liner too much, because when summer came, I preferred to looked fresher and there it came my newfound love for the Naked palette. Since it has neutral colors, it is perfect for daily use and also dark, smoky colors that can work for pretty makeup looks for special occassions. But don't get me wrong about the Kat Von D Trooper liner, that product is heavenly. I bought it as a birthday gift for myself in March and it still goes strong. It creates a perfect winged eyeliner that lasts all day. I want to buy every Kat Von D product to be quite honest. The Too Faced Better than Sex mascara is no exception. It gives such a flattering effect to my lashes, sometimes I feel like a princess. The only downside to this mascara is that it has so much product, that sometimes it can smudge under your eyes, so if you only apply like one coat of the mascara, you are good to go.

As for my base, I've been using a BB cream from Maybelline. Since summer arrived, I needed something much lighter for my face, so when I first started using it, I knew instantly that its pretty good. It blurs imperfections and makes a pretty glowy effect look to your face. With that I've also been using the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in Light and that technically gives a fresh and dewy look for the day!

And finally for lips, my holy grail lipstick has been the NYX Matte Lipstick in Butter and the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella. Those two have such a pretty color effect on my lips and even though they can be pretty drying (hence matte), it's good to put some lip balm before applying the actual lipstick.
